Asasi Sains Fizikal PASUM

Since I just have approximately another 6 weeks to spend my days as a physical student in PASUM, I think it's the right time to write about something that I've been through for almost a year and may it help the next batch of student that will spend their time studying in PASUM.

First thing's first, PASUM. Namanya sangat gah, namanya mantap. Tapi ingat, nama besar, tanggungjawab besar, cabarannya besar. Aku pun takde la terfikir pasal benda ni, aku ingat aku dapat PASUM, Alhamdulillah. Okay je, aku pergi je. Dengan mendukung cita cita untuk menjadi seorang Chemical Engineer, aku pun daftar la dekat PASUM.

Tipu kalau aku kata aku tak rasa tercabar dan kecewa dengan keputusan aku untuk masuk PASUM masa mula mula aku dekat PASUM. Aku rasa sangat susah cabaran yang aku tempuhi. Sampai satu point tu aku rasa nak quit, aku taknak stay PASUM dah. Yupp, perkara ni pernah terjadi dekat aku. 

Bila dah start kelas semua, aku mula rasa okay dengan kehidupan dekat situ. Dengan menggalas beban sebanyak 8 kertas per semester, aku kuatkan azam, motivasikan diri dan ingatkan diri, kenapa aku masuk PASUM. Kenapa aku nak PASUM, sebab aku boleh je pilih Matriks atau UTP. Tu aku malas nak jawab.

So sekarang ni, kalau nak masuk PASUM, kena kuatkan semangat. Kalau korang dapat, maksudnya korang orang yang bertuah, banyak lagi orang nak masuk PASUM tapi tak dapat. Okay, now untuk pembelajaran. Ingat, mindset awal awal, belajar kat PASUM tak susah, tapi lebih mencabar. Jangan la terkejut kalau korang belek buku rujukan, tapi tak jumpa apa yang korang nak. Itu perkara biasa. Lol!

Since aku Fizikal, aku nak cerita lebih pasal Fizikal la. Actually beza ngan Hayat Bio je. Haha. So Semester 1 korang akan ambil, Fizik 1, Fizik 2, Kimia 1, Kimia 2, Algebra dan Geometri, Kalkulus, Vektor dan Sains Komputer 1. Semester 2 pulak, Fizik 3, Fizik 4, Kimia 3, Kimia 4, Algebra dan Kalkulus, Statistik dan Kebarangkalian, Matematik Kejuruteraan dan Sains Komputer 2. Kalau Alam Bina, aku tak ingat sangat subjeknya apa, tapi korang akan ada banyak lukisan dan projek.

Aku pun takde benda sangat nak cerita, tak surprise la nanti. Kalau korang nak tahu lebih lanjut, korang kena masuk PASUM dulu. Haha. Aku akan post dengan lebih banyak nanti. Especially bila tarikh UPU untuk Batch SPM 2012 makin dekat. Kalau korang memang dah cita cita nak masuk Engineering, dan nak merasa masuk UM, PASUM lah tempat untuk anda. :)

Midsem's Over

After a hard week, Midsemester Examination is finally over. All I can say is that, Alhamdulillah, I can answer all the papers. But I must say, the toughest paper was Physics 3. Haih, whatever, at least it's over now. So, it's been a week of classes after Midsem, and I must say, it was really awful.

Three days of classes. With two of em ending at 6 pm. And the other one ended at 5 pm. With all starting at 8 am. The worst part is that on Tuesday, my class was from 8-6 straight with only lunch break to savour me from all of the sufferings including being super sleepy in the lecture hall.

The best part is that after Midsem, I know that I'm getting closer to the day I've been waiting for ever since I stepped my foot in UM in May 2012, the day I finish my studies in Center For Foundation Studies in Science, University of Malaya. Haha, I'm drawing closer to it. Just two months left now. :3

My final examination is on the first of April and will last for two weeks. Better start things early before it's too late. I need to, you know, increase my understanding in past topics as I'm now being fed with all the knowledge at a very unimaginable speed.

Everything escalated so quickly. I mean, now we're in chapter Heat and suddenly, it will be Thermodynamics, and believe me it ain't gonna be easy as it'll take 6 weeks to cover. Whatever. Organic Chemistry on the other hand, is more terrifying.

In one breath, Chemical Kinetics Stereochemistry Alcohol Phenols Aldehydes and Ketones Carboxylic Acids and Amines. Pheww, the syllabus are killing me. Bad enough, most things I learned aren't provided in the books I used to do revision so I've to depend solely on my lecture notes.

Well, all of these are coming to an end. InsyaAllah, I'll ace my final exam. Pray for me guys! :)

Oh by the way, I already applied for UPU. My top four choices would be :

Chemical Engineering - Universiti Malaya
Biomedical Engineering - Universiti Malaya
Chemical Engineering - Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia
Chemical Engineering - Universiti Putra Malaysia

Well these choices are subject to changes after I received that very small parcel that can adversely change my future. So yeah.
