Big Events in The Past Weeks

1) University of Malaya

Accepted, enrolled, went through orientation and officially becoming a UM student. Alhamdulillah, been wanting this since few months back when I was in PASUM. Time to work super hard to fulfill my ambition of becoming an engineer. Life in UM is so far so good. Everyday is a new challenge. Learned so many things in the space of a month as a Faculty of Engineering student.

2) MREPC Scholarship Interview

Went to the MREPC interview at Plaza Sentral, KL. It was a very good experience. However, I'm not chosen as the top 40 for the scholarship, but I'm given the chance to attend a second reception for a co-scholarship. I don't plan to go since the date clashes with my lab and mind you, I don't want to repeat six hours of lab. Damn it.

3) LOTTE Scholarship Interview

Another scholarship interview, but I believed that this has got to be one of the worst interview I've ever been to. I was so unprepared. I was so blurry. I just feel like giving up at that time. Probably because I was super tired and sleepy that I didn't have the chance to properly ready myself for the interview. Some more they want only 3 students from UM out of 18 shortlisted for the interview. Oh well, time to say goodbye to the scholarship.

4) JPA Scholarship Application

Alhamdulillah, applied for JPA. I have high hopes on this scholarship. Nuff said.

5) Festival Konvokesyen Universiti Malaya

So I became one of the Urusetia for FESKUM 2013. It was a great experience. Learned so many things in just a week. The most unforgettable moment would be staying up from 12-8 am on duty then having classes from 9am to 5pm that day. Wooo, my brain's half asleep through out the day. Phewww. However, managed to get through the week and I must say, it was pretty interesting to be involved in activities in UM. Hahaha.

6) Tests and Labs

Wooo first tests as degree students yawww! Haha. Took the Calculus' test few weeks back and Chemical Process Principles' test last Friday. Okay CPP's test was so unexpected. Luckily managed to answer all questions haih. Also had my first real lab for degree. Kay it was super tedious. Did an experiment on Surface Tension Analysis and Solid Surface Adsorption. These experiments were okay, but really tiring and tedious cause have to wait for like an hour for results.

Well, life in faculty is never dull, and I'm enjoying every bit of it. So yeah.
