A New Beginning

Phew, as soon as I got the offer from UM, I quickly searched for past students experience. My, its really amazing to see many seniors sharing their past experience. I was left mesmerized for minutes when I first read about life in PASUM.

Life there according to ex-PASUM students is really simple. You wake up in the morning, go to class from then till evening. Then if there's no tutorial, lectures, and lab you can do whatever you want to. There's no curfew. Hehehe, I'm happy about that. But then, I came across the orientation week experience. I felt like drowning. -.-

So during the orientation I will sleep less and be active more. There will be many activities. Most of the activities will be talks and lectures. But I also heard that we have to learn about the college cheers, songs, and dances. Damn. I really don't like these kind of things but, whatever.

I asked my dad about the orientation week in UM since he was one of the graduates of the university. Yeah, my dad said you will never have enough sleep for a week. But then, when the orientation ends, your real life will begin. There will be no such activities anymore. Your day, will simply involve waking up, learning and going back to sleep.

I really hope that the orientation will end on Friday so that I can go back home on Saturday. The only thing cheering me up is that my dad said that I can come back home every weekend since its only a 40 minute drive from home to UM. :)

That's it for now. I feel much better now after writing. So to my friends, good luck for the future! I wish you guys all the best. As for me, I really hope I can cope with the orientation week in PASUM. Ya Allah, help me to get through it. :')

P/S : Its the only thing worrying me now. I don't really care about staying in a hostel since I can come back home every weekend.

Till then,
Ciao XD
